Google Alerts

I've been using the beta version of Google Alerts for some time now. How good is it? Good enough that I recently forwarded a link that came through Google Alerts to someone directly involved in a leadership role with that company and got a "How did you find this?" response. Now they've added (I think -- at least, I don't remember it) the ability to have the results sents to a trackback on a blog or a frame on a web page. As a test, I'm going to set an Alert on the query "Google Alerts" to the trackback for this post.
