Inspiration

Barb Fredrickson lists inspiration as a positive emotion.  It involves an encounter with human excellence that makes us want to be our  best selves.  If you want an example, want to learn about a cool thing a major university did, and want to read some great writing, read all of  this blog post by Chris Peterson.  (Full disclosure:  Chris was one of my MAPP professors and I'm an out-and-out fan; it's possible knowing Chris gave the post more impact for me.  Please let me know if your mileage differs!)
