The quote is from Princess Bride. I ran across it in an article about the economy that fears some potential government actions that could seriously damage the economy are only "mostly dead." Be that as it may, the quote has a note of hope for those who feel marriages, family relationships, friendships, careers, and lives in general are "mostly dead." Maybe, but they are also still alive. And therein lies hope. For anyone who wants "better" (not perfect, better) and is willing to work for it, we now know some ways that offer a high likelihood of achieving "better." But first, one has to be willing to say and mean the Four Statements to Happier:
2. "My name is __________."
3. "I want to be happier."
4. "I am willing to work at it."
